B. S. Guesthouse Karon

We recommend a very nice family-run guesthouse in Karon, Phuket close to our office. This is a popular hangout for divers so plenty of people to discuss those awesome dives you just experienced. It is also where we carry out our pool training with a customised 3 metre deep pool making it the ideal place to stay if you are taking a dive course with us. Furthermore, it is only a couple of minutes walk from our office so very handy for after diving socialising with the Sharkey team!

Location

Situated between Kata and Karon, 400 metres north of the Phuket Hilton. It is a few minutes drive to both Kata and Karon beaches, and about 10 minutes walk to Karon beach. To visit the nightlife of Patong takes approximately 10 - 15 minutes by taxi at a cost of 300 baht each way.

Rooms

All rooms have the following: en suite bathroom, air-conditioning, cable TV, mini-bar, safe, towels, soap. All rooms contain twin or double beds.

Standard room: Twin beds - comfortable but with no windows.
Deluxe room: Double bed - large windows and all mod cons.
Bungalow: Double bed - quiet area set back from the road.
Super Deluxe room: Same as Deluxe but larger in size.
Superior room: Large rooms all with their own private and very spacious balcony.
Family room: 1 double, 1 twin with adjoining door
Luxury Apartment: 1 double bedroom with kitchen/lounge area and private and very spacious balcony.

Other Facilities

The guesthouse has a bar/restaurant area serving an excellent variety of Thai and Western cuisine. The bar is a great place to chill out with free pool table, outdoor deck, and comfortable sofas as well as tables and chairs. The bar/restaurant also has wireless internet free of charge (available in some rooms also). Just bring your laptop!

The outdoor swimming pool is right next to the bar/restaurant area enabling you to order drinks from the bar without having to leave the water! Perfect for that early evening cocktail. There is also a taxi service including airport pick-up/drop-off and a laundry service at very reasonable rates.
