Overview

Departing from Phuket every Monday and Friday the Phi Phi Overnighter on the MV Greta is the perfect way to explore the main dive sites around Phuket and Phi Phi. With seven dives you will experience a large variety of dive sites including a wreck dive, wall dives and drift dives. Discover sharks, seahorses, pipefish, hard corals, soft corals, sea fans, and so much more. Throwing in luxury overnight accommodation on Phi Phi island itself, giving you the chance to explore this tropical island, makes this trip the perfect overnight break.

MV Greta

Originally a fishing boat the Greta was completely overhauled and turned into a comfortable, purpose-designed diving boat. The lower deck consists of a comfortable air-conditioned lounge and dive deck. All meals are served in the lounge area, and water, tea and coffee together with an assortment of fruits and snacks are readily available throughout the trip. The dive deck comfortably fits 25 divers with room for storing gear and bags once your equipment has been set up. Upstairs is the chill-out area with mattresses on the floor for the sun worshippers, and a table and benches for those feeling in a sociable mood.

Accommodation on Phi Phi

Accommodation for the trip is at the Bay View Resort, a series of split-level bungalows on the hilly terrain of Laem Hin. From the bungalows themselves you have a fantastic panoramic view of the smaller of the two Phi Phi islands, namely Phi Phi Ley. The resort itself sits right on the beach front, a fantastic place to start the day with a buffet-style breakfast. All rooms are either twin-share or double rooms with air-conditioning and hot water showers. Soap, shampoo and towels are provided for your convenience. All rooms also contain satellite TV and a mini-bar.

Phi Phi Don

One of the beauties of the trip is the chance to relax and explore the main island of Phi Phi, namely Phi Phi Don. With white sand beaches and lush tropical vegetation you really feel like you are in paradise. Once you have checked into your accommodation the usual thing is to have an explore around and then, if you still have energy left, join other customers and your dive guides for a drink or two on the shorefront. Listen to some live music and revel at the local fire show as the entertainers toss and spin their flaming torches.
