The Dive Deck

Queen Scuba - dive deck

This boat has a large spacious dive deck ensuring that you always feel relaxed and comfortable whilst gearing up for those wonderful dives. No need to move tanks around as all tanks are continuously filled at their stations so just set up your gear on the first day and then forget about it. 15 litre tanks and enriched air (Nitrox) are available for rent.

Either the two dinghies will transfer you to the dive sites or entry will be off the dive platform. Most pick-ups are made by the dinghy for your convenience.

The tour leader on the boat will brief the dive sites prior to every dive. The briefings are thorough and very interesting helping you to have more knowledge about the underwater world, and to recognize what you're seeing. Divemasters are provided for your convenience and safety though you are welcome to dive just with your buddy if you so choose.

Queen Scuba Onboard Areas

The air conditioned saloon is large enough to seat everyone on the boat at the same time. It houses a wide-screen TV and a DVD entertainment system, plus contains a very large selection of all the newest movies. On the top deck, there is plenty of room for sun worshippers on the large 60 sq meter half sheltered sun deck.

All meals are served buffet style at a spacious outside covered dining area. All foods are freshly cooked with a mix of both Thai and Western foods. Also, throughout each day there is a selection of complimentary snacks on hand such as fruit and cakes. Water, tea, coffee and soft drinks are also available free of charge.

Dive Groups

Dive groups on Queen Scuba are generally limited to a maximum size of four people for each dive guide. All guides are professionally trained divemasters, highly experienced in diving in and around the Similan islands. Dive times are up to one hour per dive.
