Sharkey Scuba Phuket Newsletter 2009, no. 1

Happy New Year!

A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of the Sharkey "extended family"! We hope everyone is well and that you all got loads of nice pressies from Santa. We at Sharkey were all good boys and girls as usual so were rewarded with many nice things including wine for Iain (Max says Iain is always whining), chocolate for Oui (even though she is sweet enough already) and shoes for Abbie (she now has more shoes than the rest of the Sharkey team put together). Unfortunately Doctor Max did not get much at all as there's not a lot that you can fit into a hobbit-sized stocking:(.

It's been a long time since our last newsletter which is a sign of how busy things have been over the last year. For this we are happy and give thanks to all those who have come to visit. It is so nice to see old friends re-visiting and make new ones too. We have had many, many superb dives followed by pleasurable evenings eating local Thai food and having a beer or two with excellent company around us. Long may this continue:).

For this and future newsletters we have decided to post them online rather than e-mailing direct. This is partly to avoid overloading peoples' "Inboxes" but also to allow us to add more information. It is so pleasing to be able to share our enthusiam for diving and to hear that the "diving bug" is as contagious as ever! Thanks also for all the support and recommendations that we receive.
