You only take this course once in your life so who you choose to do it with may be the most important decision in your diving career.

Unlimited Diving

To be a good divemaster requires building experience as well as just completing the necessary training. For this reason, during the course we offer "unlimited diving".

Your Instructor

In terms of tuition the course itself will be run by the owner of Sharkey Scuba, Iain Page. Iain has been working as a divemaster and instructor in Phuket for oversix years, has taught hundreds of students and guided thousands of certified divers. He also previously worked as a tour leader on both day trip and liveaboard boats before opting to run his own business. Having been responsible for selecting his own crew it puts him in a good position to teach divemaster trainees exactly what will be expected of them in a real working environment.

Divemaster Course Length

We recommend a 3 to 6 week period. Any less can be stressful, any longer and you can end up losing focus on what you are doing.

Price: 34,900 baht

Includes all course dives and tuition. Excludes equipment rental, PADI required materials and Divemaster application fee.

PADI Divemaster Course Pre-requisites

The pre-requisites for starting your divemaster course are as follows:-

• 18 years of age or older
• PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
• Proof of minimum 20 logged dives
• Diving medical certificate
