Somboon 4 - Similan Islands Liveaboard Thailand

Somboon 4 is especially designed boat for Similan liveaboard diving trips. Designed and built two years ago it features 10 twin and 4 double cabins (maximum 28 guests). All cabins have their own air-conditioning units meaning you control the temperature of your cabin. In addition there is an air-conditioned entertainment room, spacious dining area, large dive platform and gearing up area, and a massive sun deck with plenty of sun loungers for everyone.

The Somboon 4 liveaboard itself is permanently moored in and around the Similan islands and further north. On Wednesdays and Sundays the boat leaves the Similan islands to travel north to the islands of Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, both famous for manta ray sightings. After visiting these islands it continues to move north to Richelieu Rock considered the best dive site in Thailand and one of the best in the world! This site is also renowned for whale shark sightings especially between the months of February and April.

Trips depart every day except Wednesdays and Sundays from Phuket and Khao Lak. Trips are a minimum 3 day/2 night. Transfers are by minibus to Taplamu pier and then speedboat to the Similans islands to join Somboon 4.
